Pricing
Our fees are structured around clarity, not complexity. Every session has a defined length and a set price. There are no surprises, no hourly clock, and no guessing what something will cost before you begin.
Fees for shared sessions are split evenly between both parties. This is not just a billing convenience; it is part of how we stay neutral. Neither party is “the client.” You are both being served equally, and the cost structure reflects that.
Neutrality at the Core
The core of our process is guided by a structured, neutral conversation focused on reaching a workable, sustainable agreement for your pet’s care.

Consultation — Complimentary
A brief conversation to understand your situation and confirm mediation is the right fit.
15 minutes
Individual Preparation Session
Before the joint session, each party meets with us separately and confidentially. This is where we understand your priorities, answer questions, and help you walk into the joint session ready for a productive conversation rather than a difficult one.
Each party pays for their own preparation session, since it is individual and confidential by design. If both parties reach out together and choose to move directly to a joint session, this step can be skipped. If a party needs more than one preparation session before feeling ready, additional sessions are available at the same rate.
60 minutes - $250 per person
Joint Mediation Session*
The core of our process. Both parties meet together, guided through a structured, neutral conversation focused on reaching a workable, sustainable agreement for your pet’s care.
90 minutes - $600 ($300 per person)
If more time is needed to work through the details, an additional Joint Session can be scheduled at the same rate, rather than extending the original session indefinitely.
*A 60-minute option is available when both parties are already closely aligned and mainly need help formalizing an agreement: $450 total ($225 per person).
Agreement Summary
Once decisions are reached, we prepare a clear written summary reflecting what was agreed upon: a reference document you can both return to. This is not a legal contract, and we do not provide legal advice. It is a plain, shared record of your agreement.
$250 ($125 per person)
Follow‑Up Session
Life with pets is not static. If circumstances shift or an agreement needs light refinement down the road, a follow‑up session offers a focused space to revisit and adjust without starting the process over.
45 minutes - $200 ($100 per person)
A Typical Full Process
Preparation, Joint Session, and Agreement Summary usually total $1,350 combined, or $675 per person; a fraction of the cost, time, and strain of a legal process, with a clear document to show for it.
This reflects one Preparation Session per party and one Joint Session. It does not include an optional Follow-Up Session or any additional Preparation or Joint Sessions, priced separately above.
Important Note
We are trained, certified mediators, not attorneys. We do not provide legal advice or legal representation, and our agreements are not legal contracts. If you are in the midst of a broader separation or divorce, this summary can be brought to your legal counsel to help inform the pet‑related terms of your formal agreement.
